Hello everyone! Just a quick update on our lovely new large format printer after the old Designjet 500+ printed its last 62 x 42 inch poster the other week and had blown an expensive circuit board. Which was the perfect excuse to buy this beauty! HP Designjet T1120 44 Inch Large format printer is the latest addition to HUUMedia.com printing lineup.

We have already tried a number of prints on this machine including posters of Photo Gloss paper and Christmas Gifts on Canvas, and i must say the results are a massive improvement on the older machine!

Little Einsteins Nursery Goes Live

Little Einsteins Nursery created with HUUMedia’s Content Management System has gone live. Little Einsteins Nursery located down Cranbrook Avenue will benefit from our continued support after their initial CMS training ends.

HUUMedia were given the task of designing the website by Little Einsteins Nursery Director Wendy Oliver.

The site content is now under Wendy’s control and with our support, she has the tools to build upon the sound foundations created by Hull University Union Media.

HUU helps with move

HUU helps with move! - HUUMedia.com were chosen by the University IT Helpdesk service to design and print promotional material advertising their relocation.

After the initial meeting, we decided on several tried and trusted marketing routes to get the most from the IT Helpdesks budget. Using a range of 12foot banners, flyers, large format printing, bookmarks and using student staff for distribution. The IT Helpdesk were more then happy with the marketing of their move.

HUU works with local school children on Flyer design! - Hull University Union held a competition for a local school, Gladstone Road Junior, and asked the children to design a flyer for a competition to promote Fairtrade fortnight.

There was an amazing response with 480 entries to choose from. Our VP Scarborough Campus had the job of picking the winners from the heaps of designs. The two first prize winners, one from year 3-4 and the other year 5-6, won a University of Hull hoodies. Visit http://www.hullstudent.com/ for more.

Looking for Student Designers - Working with VP Academic Representation - Richard Jackson, Huumedia created artwork to help inspire student designers to get their creative heads on!
